What’s something that you secretly wish you could be really good at, but have never gotten around to doing/learning?
Break dancing! That’s not a joke. I always joke around about break dance battles, but it’s because I really wish I could bust out some moves at a random moment. I grew up on the classic break dance films. The skill those peeps have… It’s incredible.
What are you most excited about right now?
Finishing up the recording sessions for This City Is For Losers., releasing This City Is For Losers. at some point in life, Julie Benz on Desperate Housewives, and my show tomorrow night at All Asia in Cambridge, MA (shameless plug).
If you won a million dollars what would you do with it?
Oh wow, prepare to think I am boring! I pretty much have a tiny, tiny Suze Orman sitting on each shoulder at all times, so… credit card debt, Roth IRA, down payment on a home… I mean, I’M GOING TO VEGAS, BABY! And I’m buying a leopard.
What Olympic event would you kick ass in?
Archery. I have good aim. And I loved it that one time in gym class… Maybe one day I’ll check it out. If I weren’t so short, I’d say basketball, as I used to play that hardcore once upon a time. But, bow and arrow’s more my speed these days.
You’re going to be put in a chryo tube as a time capsule find for a future civilization. What would you wear and what one album would you be entombed with?
Oh wow, I feel a lot of pressure right now. I have trouble deciding what to wear to bed, let alone a chryo tube. I guess I would dress up as a super villian, perhaps Harley Quinn or Catwoman (don’t think Halle Berry). Could you blame me? How cool would it be to see someone dressed up as a super anything IN A CHRYO TUBE!!! It’s straight out of a comic book panel. And, I would definitely take Elliott Smith’s “From A Basement On The Hill” with me. For sure.
